O'Fallon/Shiloh Internet References
Links specific for the O'Fallon/Shiloh area:
This is an incredible body of relocation information recently upgraded ly by the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce. Some committee did a lot of good work in putting this all together.

You don't want to miss O'Fallon's official city site. This site includes Events-Meetings-Services-Codes and Ordinances...It also identifies and pictures the Mayor, City Treasurer and City Clerk, as well as the entire City Council, and has a lot of useful links.

Or Shiloh's Home Page either - A neat site about history, events, schools and community information.

This is to an excellent site sponsored by "Village Profile", a map publishing company that has done an O'Fallon map and hosts a great web site.
It has a ton of good general Information and a great overview. It seems a bit slow from time to time, but worth the wait. The address above will take you to the index of Illinois cities, where you'll also find Belleville, Alton, Collinsville, Columbia, Fairview Heights and Edwardsville/Glen Carbon.

With or without direct military interests, this is a great overview of Scott AFB.

The City-Data sites are incredibly loaded with demographics, statistics and directories.

O'Fallon's public library is a wonderland of research.

Whoops...this isn't working....need to check it out as it was useful about "Old Downtown":
Downtown O'Fallon will be the focal point, the "heart and soul" that reflects the historic identity and character of the town. It will be a clean, safe, and attractive environment, with historic buildings restored and the streetscape presenting an open, pedestrian-friendly, plaza type atmosphere. People of all ages from the community and the region will want to come to downtown O'Fallon because of the fun activities, the variety of businesses, its convenient location, and the charm of the railroad corridor. O'Fallon's old "Main Street", actually State Street, has been bypassed by newer developments, but it still retains much of its old charm and this group is dedicated to keeping it viable. (Part of the mission statement.) .

A site relating to Scott AFB's "Joint Use" initiative...Midamerica Airport, adjacent to Scott AFB, IL.
